Job Description

Job Title: Project Lead

Project: RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance)
Reporting To: MSME Commissionerate / State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU)
Location: Gujarat (Statewide – field travel required)


Educational Qualification

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or an equivalent management discipline
  • Degree must be from a recognized university

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in:
    • Program / Project Management
    • Consulting
    • Industry or Trade Development
    • Policy Support
  • Mandatory experience of working on at least two Government of India or State Government projects

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Proven stakeholder coordination with government departments and agencies
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in Gujarati, English, and Hindi (spoken and written)
  • Experience in MIS dashboards, data validation, and analytics
  • Ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and compliance requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Monitor field-level implementation and ensure alignment with RAMP objectives
  2. Consolidate district-level reports and prepare:
    • Policy briefs
    • Analytical notes
    • Program strategies and recommendations
  3. Conduct review meetings and coordinate with:
    • Government departments
    • District officials
    • Key stakeholders
  4. Ensure timely submission of deliverables, progress reporting, and data accuracy
  5. Supervise district consultants and oversee MIS dashboards and analytics
  6. Perform any additional tasks assigned by the MSME Commissionerate / SPIU under RAMP

Other Requirements

  • Willingness to travel extensively across all districts of the state
  • Ability to work in a government program environment with high accountability

Compensation

  • Salary: ₹1,00,000 per month (Project Lead)
