Job Description
Job Purpose
- This position is responsible for overall maintenance of section assets, including all the machinery, equipment and utilities and to ensure minimum downtime on account of breakdown of machinery and equipment.
- The incumbent shall lead the electronics, electrical and instrumentation activities to ensure the completion of all maintenance work as per plans and schedule and support in achieving the production target for the department
Duties and Responsibilities
- Applicant should have
Good knowledge in VCB (VD4), ACB, VFD, PCC, MCC, Motors operation and
maintenance.
- Applicant should have
responsible for preventive/predictive/breakdown maintenance, fault finding,
RCA, FMEA, MTBF, MTTR etc.
- Ensure the availability and usage of PPEs
- Create safety awareness among the employees and shift officers by safety
awareness sessions.
- Improvement activities to be driven in terms of safety aspect.
- Applicant should well
aware of ISO norms, document preparation etc. Should have good knowledge in
compliance norms.
- Should have good
exposure to various fire & safety processes.
- Co-ordination/collaborate
skill within plant on various issue in-terms of load manage, equipment manage
and safety.
- Should have good
knowledge in UPS & batteries operation & Maintenance
- Applicant should be
well aware of reliability study of the plant distribution system
- Applicant should know
to read the Key Single Line Diagram of plant electrical distribution system
- Applicant should be
well aware of protection and metering system of plant
- Applicant should know
the Load flow study (LF), power factor improvements to ensure the adequacy of
Electrical network.
- Applicant should know the implications of major voltage drops, overloading of equipment and power losses under the steady state condition of the plant.
Qualifications
Education: - Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronic Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering
Skill &
Experience
- MS Office / SAP
- Leadership abilities
- Good communication skills.
- Experience: 02-08 Years’ min experience & at least 1-3 Years’ experience in similar role.

Goals/Expectations
o Production department to raise a complaint against
machine abnormality or breakdown that need to be attended timely and
effectively.
o To maintain relevant records related to external audits.
