Job Title: Lift Installation Engineer

Job Summary

The Lift Installation Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing the installation of elevators, escalators, and moving walks at customer sites. The role ensures that installations are completed safely, within the project timeline, and in compliance with company standards, technical specifications, and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Execute the installation of elevators, escalators, and moving walks as per approved drawings and technical specifications.

Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and customers for smooth project execution.

Supervise installation technicians and subcontractors at project sites.

Ensure proper alignment, leveling, wiring, and mechanical assembly of lift components.

Conduct site inspections and verify shaft readiness before installation.

Perform testing, commissioning, and trial runs before handover.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality guidelines, and statutory regulations.

Prepare installation progress reports and maintain project documentation.

Coordinate with procurement and stores for timely availability of materials.

Identify and resolve installation-related technical issues.

Support inspection activities by clients, consultants, and government authorities.

Ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.

Attend customer complaints related to installation during the project phase.

Maintain tools, equipment, and installation records.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

2–8 years of experience in elevator/lift installation.

Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
