About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and technically proficient MEP Engineer to manage and supervise Mechanical,

Electrical, and Plumbing works for a CPWD project in Jammu. The ideal candidate should have strong experience

in site execution, coordination, quality control, documentation, and project management, preferably in CPWD or

government building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) works at the project site.

• Ensure execution of MEP works as per approved drawings, technical specifications, BOQ, and applicable

CPWD standards.

• Coordinate with the client, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal site teams for smooth project

execution.

• Prepare work schedules, monitor project progress, and ensure timely completion of activities.

• Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, BOQ, and technical documents.

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.

• Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with project quality standards and safety regulations.

• Monitor material requirements and coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely availability

of materials.

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

• Attend client, consultant, and project review meetings and provide updates on project progress.

Identify and resolve technical issues at the site and provide engineering support to the project team.

• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover activities for MEP systems.

• Ensure proper documentation of project records, inspections, approvals, and site activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in MEP project execution and site supervision.

• Experience in CPWD, government building, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects will be preferred.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and related MEP systems.

• Good understanding of BOQ, technical specifications, drawings, site execution, and project documentation.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other project documentation tools.

• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and team management skills.

• Willingness to work at the project site in Jammu.

Candidate Profile
