Position: Purchase Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement, vendor management, and inventory planning. The role will be responsible for ensuring cost-effective sourcing, uninterrupted material supply, optimal inventory levels, and efficient supply chain operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement planning and inventory control based on sales forecasts, demand planning, and business requirements.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and ensure uninterrupted availability of required materials.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and other commercial conditions with vendors.
  • Ensure timely procurement of quality materials as per business requirements.
  • Oversee end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations, including procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, industry regulations, and vendor audit requirements.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and identify opportunities to optimize sourcing costs.
  • Implement cost-effective purchasing strategies without compromising quality.
  • Manage purchase orders, inventory reconciliation, and vendor payments.
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and implement appropriate measures to ensure business continuity.
  • Monitor market trends and develop sourcing strategies accordingly.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Procurement / Purchase / Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in BPC, Beauty, Personal Care, Nutraceutical, or Wellness industries is preferred.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Hands-on experience in inventory control and procurement planning.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and quality standards for wellness and personal care products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and implement cost-effective purchasing strategies.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Willingness to travel for work as required.
