Job Description

Job Description: Substation Energy Auditor / Surveyor / Supervisor

Position Title: Substation Energy Auditor / Surveyor / Supervisor
Location: Motihari and Muzaffarpur
Salary: Up to ₹30,000 per month (based on experience and interview performance)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive survey of Power Substations (PSS).

  2. Verify line diagrams, connectivity, and status of all incoming and outgoing feeders.

  3. Segregate incomer and outgoing circuits for 33/11KV networks.

  4. Assess feeder performance along with CT/PT status and prepare connectivity diagrams.

  5. Verify and correct Multiplying Factors (MF).

  6. Compare incoming vs. outgoing substation energy and calculate associated technical and commercial losses.

  7. Identify probable causes of energy losses at the substation level.

  8. Ensure proper connectivity and tagging of feeders to Distribution Transformers (DTs) as per the electrical network.

  9. Conduct DT visits and verify DTCPR ratios.

  10. Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for PSS–Feeder–DT networks.

  11. Identify switching/boundary points and ensure proper tagging.

  12. Map various feeders/DTs and their association with respective PSS, including new incomers.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.

  • Prior experience in substation audits, energy accounting, or power distribution systems preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of 33/11KV systems, CT/PT, DTs, and feeder management.

  • Ability to analyze energy losses and suggest corrective measures.

  • Proficiency in preparing SLDs, connectivity diagrams, and technical reports.

  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
