Job Description
Job Purpose: The Lift Installation Technician will
be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, testing, and
commissioning of elevators at project sites in Chennai. The role requires
strong technical skills, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to
deliver quality work within project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
● Perform
installation of elevator systems including mechanical, electrical, and control
components as per company standards.
● Carry out shaft marking, guide rail installation, door fixing, and machine room setup.
● Conduct wiring, alignment, and adjustments during the installation and testing phase.
● Ensure all safety protocols and site regulations are strictly followed.
● Coordinate with the site engineer, supervisor, and project team for timely completion.
● Support the commissioning and handover process by ensuring installation quality and documentation.
● Report daily progress and maintain installation checklists.
Qualifications and Experience:
● Education: ITI
Fitter / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical
● Experience:
○ Minimum 3
years of experience in lift/elevator
installation. ○ Experience with
major elevator brands (Otis, Kone, Schindler, Thyssenkrupp, etc.) will be
preferred.
Skills Required:
● Strong
technical knowledge of lift installation procedures.
● Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
● Good communication and teamwork skills.
● Basic troubleshooting and fault-finding ability.
● Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Location: Project sites within Chennai and nearby areas
● Travel: May be required depending on project locations
