Job title:         Manager – Audits and Direct Taxation

Location:       Pune. Includes intra city and inter city travel.

Terms:            Full time.

CTC:               Rs. 4.2 Lacs to Rs. 5.4 Lacs

We are reputed Chartered accountants firm based at Kharadi, Pune since 2013 and known for delivering comprehensive financial and consultancy services to a diverse clientele. We mainly deal in IND AS, audits, direct tax, assessments & reassessments (direct tax as well as indirect tax), secretarial services and other MCA governed work.

About the role:     The proposed role includes handling total work pertaining to audits, direct taxes, assessments & reassessments (direct tax), accounting advisory process and other allied work.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Management:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with auditing standards and internal policies.
  • Review and finalize audit reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Direct Taxation:

  • Manage and oversee all direct tax-related activities for clients, including tax planning, compliance, and advisory services.
  • Review and file tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  • Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations and implement necessary changes in client tax strategies.
  • Represent clients in tax assessments, appeals, and other tax- related proceedings.

Client Management:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service delivery.
    • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to complex financial issues.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to add value to client engagements.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff members, providing guidance and support.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

Candidate requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 – 2.5 years of experience in a CA firm with a strong focus on audits and direct taxes.

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of auditing standards and practices.
  • Comprehensive   understanding     of    direct    tax    laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in using accounting and tax software like Tally Prime, etc.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English).
